IMO your analogy is not quite correct, shops and stores work on invertory turn ratios, so do car yards i.e if it's been in the yard more than 90 days - discount it/dump it. I am not a realestate peddler, but I think these guys work differently, come to think of it, they are just agents, they don't have stock/inventory - just listings - big difference
