I'm not so sure Redondo.
I'm guessing that people like Dickory Ruddock have put a hell of a lot of time (years) in this to fulfill a dream. The dream is not to make a lot of money (although a nice by-product) but to see Intevia become a household name.
The dream is not to have Intevia badged by another company, thereby not gaining any recognition for his invention.
