If you want to know what happened in the US, it would be worthwhile to look at the authentic court documents for a more accurate and balanced view of the events that have taken place in America. These legal papers have been submitted before a Judge in the Superior Court of Bibb County, Georgia, USA and are public records. Anyone can go to the courthouse and view these same documents.
After reading several years worth of postings on this HotCopper forum, it appears that many of the shareholders are concerned, puzzled, bewildered, frustrated, fearful, uncertain, and often, quite angry! Several of you have questioned the validity of the "facts" and "figures". Most shareholders have held on to their shares in hopes of the possibility of an eventual dividend.
The Public Announcements that are presented on the ASX website come from the same source everytime. What has been your opinion of the truth and accuracy of the "facts" presented to the shareholders over and over?
Just for the record, there were 4,785,055 shares presented in the US as part of the purchase price. On 31/12/2008, those shares were supposedly valued at $500,000 USD. As of today, their value is less than $78,000 USD. That's an 85% decease in share value, which equals a loss of over $422,000 USD. According to the 2009 Annual Report, those shares were listed as belonging to the 6th largest shareholder.
The information that has been presented to the ASX and the Australian media has an entirely different focus than the information filed in the counterclaims in US court.
Many of you may not be interested in seeing anything else. However, if anyone does want to review these public record - court documents, just send an email to -- ( [email protected] )-- A pdf file will be emailed back to you.
