I would not have described myself as an 'up-ramper' because I always saw risks with SGH given the extent to which it was over-geared, even before it bought QPP's PSD. The upside was considerable in my view, however, which made investment worthwhile. I made the same mistake as many others in assuming AG et al were competent and honest about the numbers.
