This is one of the reasons I have said VA is not a viable option - solicitors leave and go to other employers or establish their own firms with clients giving instructions to SGH to transfer the files. If this happens materially the whole business collapses (i.e. nothing saleable) and WIP recovery is severely impacted.

Some solicitors decide to go out alone of their own volition (might have a sustainable client base that will follow them and they hate office politics etc.) though I wouldn't say it is material.
