I would look a little more closely at the spin-off and why they are doing this. As far as them going bust, I would be surprised, given that the major shareholder (I believe) is the Belgian guy who owns "Viper" which is a military hardware company. IHG is a drop in the ocean for him. That's not to say he won't get "bored" of IHG though... Who knows, trying to guess what IHG will do is as bad as trying to guess what ERG will do. Better off playing with other more predictable stocks IMHO.
