Once many years ago to the ABC I did go
I said please may I join your show
The interview went very well
Everything was going swell
Then silly dopey little me
Said in the Uni Liberal club I used to be
Then everything went up in smoke
I thought the interviewer was having a stroke
He shouted and pointed to the door
And Security escorted me off the floor
I never did find out about their rates of pay
I often wonder to this day.
