forget it. better bets elsewhere. imo centro's assets are worth far less than anyone is prepared to say. as recession bites, renters will close shop, insolvent. will centro be able to support it's debt then ? what i think we are seeing is a desperate attempt to avoid major losses for the banks which will in turn lead to a loss of confidence just about everywhere. firstly loss of confidence in the banks. my jolly broker once said to me ' never board a ship without a rudder'. centro has no rudder.
