Thanks for the analysis. I had never thought about IFL in that way, but I suppose that the same model applies to most wealth management businesses. (PPT, CGF etc). I thought that your comment on the margin pressure was most astute. Like the resource industry margin collapse sent a lot of the expensive producers to the wall, continuing pressure on margins will certainly encourage industry consolidation. With less competition, the margin pressure could hold or even be reversed.
