I still don't know why people sold yesterday. Cheap and quality financial advise/management requires technology (less human time of face to face involved) and scale (one product/research can be used for many). IFL is building that way. Financial advise/service is the way to build wealth given not all of us know about the best way to look after our money. The wealthy is in fact using it, they don't spend time on researching market (see Macquarie bank). Ordinary people will need it even more but given the much smaller quantity (of money) and the fee (who would do it for free?), then we need a way for that market. The royal commission do show the disadvantages of ordinary people who want to use financial advise. I have no doubt if IFL will acquire even more in the future once it proves that ANZ/MLC acquisitions are working.
