Article from AFR says temporary repairs will take a couple of weeks.
"This had caused disruption to electricity supply to the smelter.Temporary towers would be installed, with construction work likely to start on Tuesday. Materials would arrive on site on February 3."We’re aiming to have at least one line restored within a week,'' AusNet said."Subject to weather conditions, we expect the construction of the temporary towers and restoration of both lines to be completed over the next two weeks''."
"AusNet Services has indicated it will take about two weeks to complete a temporary link around the damaged 500 kilowatt transmission towers –between Moorabool and the Mortlake power station – on the Victorian side of the border."
