fair call.. my statement about not being concerned about the grid may have been a bit loose... I was really just referring to how renewable generation is being made to adapt to the grid - not the otherway around.
I hit post before reviewing... and then work got in the way which locked me out of editing the statement.
I agree that our gas firming assets are going to have a great summer - medium term they will be a great benefit for us, but LT I feel that gas will be outclassed by more renewable or re-usable sources of energy, and IFN should perhaps be looking at adding a pathway to access these LT forms of storage for their portfolio of firming assets.
