If you vote for rudd, you are voting to hand Australia back to the dark ages of union thuggery.
The labor line-up of union stooges are not in any way equivalent in ability to John Howard's team of seasoned, experienced professionals.
Just claiming to have similar policies doesn't mean anything:
- promises don't mean anything if you don't have a professional leadership team. A leadership team stuffed with union stooges and lackeys doesn't bode well for labor's ability to accomplish anything much except for wildcat strikes and stand-over thuggery
- promises don't mean anything if you actually have no intention of living up to your policy promises.
Garret let the cat out of the bag on that one, but it might also have been a way to quickly re-assure the bulk of the labor party faithful not to worry too much about any policies rudd promised as part of his "me-too" election campaign.
After all , they are just promises and fingers were crossed anyway.
