As madan said in another post "Poor politicians; they got "only" 17 % rise this year for working 75 days for the whole year & they want us to work 24/7 for a pay cut & no penalties."
In my opinion I wouldn't worry about the ex-union officials, they are only out for themselves jumping on the gravy train before it leaves the station with better pay and conditions (life) than they could get working in a union capacity let alone what they have delivered for their members or workers of the country over the last 11 years.
