I think once you get the share certificate you can transfer the shares into another broker's account. I think IG is the best platform at the moment due to their low fees but they are not opening up new accounts due to not having enough capacity.
I have an account with CMC Markets, which I know also trades on LSE stock. You could try opening an account with CMC?
