If IG have the right to sell those shares - then you don’t own them- they do.

I didn’t realise IG had that setup - some brokers do, some don’t


I would be gone -

I don’t like that system at all - if the brokerage goes bust

Your shares are gone.

I treat that system like the plague.

If, on the other hand - you are the actual owner - they have no right to sell your property and cannot stop you transferring to another broker.


The whole thing stinks worse than a dead prawn in the glovebox in summer for a week
