To monitor and prove to public that fracking can be performed safely.

Yet still the greens aren't happy.  If the greens truely believed there psuedo-science that they rely on then surely they would be happy that all this govt. monitoring would prove how much ground polution fracking causes? Funny enough, it's the professors of geo-engineering that have a better idea of the impacts of fracking on the land, and so hopefully this data will be used once and for all to silence those noisey greenies
