In the IOD conference about shale last week Francis Eagan described the 200TCF estimate of gas in place for the CUadrilla Bowland licence as "CONSERVATIVE".
Cuadrilla has the deepest part of Bowland (that we know about) so it stands to reason that the Cuadrilla number will be significantly higher than the 200TCF.
300TCF + is my guess. And wouldn't that be lovely!!!!
Still not many holes getting drilled at present. They are taking their sweet time to get going.
