Flying Fox production wrapped up last year, and the Spotted Quoll underground is only being propped up by the Hedging profile which finishes this year, with IGO stating they have a plan to close it up early next year. Not sure if they have anything else that is in the pipeline down there.
The Cosmic Boy concentrator at Forrestania is obviously geared towards sulfide float and producing a nickel con.
You’re talking about the gold resources around Bounty? I don’t know the nitty gritty about them to really comment…but from memory I thought the total ounces are sourced from half-a-dozen or so separate zones? In any case I wouldn’t of thought hauling 85-90km would be the solution.
Again, without having looked at the detail, I would of thought if someone wants to bring it online, makes more sense to go with a small(ish) CIL plant at the old Bounty site that is central to the satellite resources… that could involve re-locating the primary crushing and SAG components from the Forrestania mill (again depending on if they are suitable). But that would mean purchasing from IGO or that they themselves wanted to get back into gold, which I guess they could...but it'd be a real back to the future move for IGO, and they seem to be keen to double down on this ‘battery metal’ theme.
