    Hi Marfis,
No idea whether this rumour is true or not but it it would certainly make sense for a big player to own both NCZ and AML.

This would give them very significant copper, zinc, cobalt, lead, and silver resources plus, as you say, a very large processing plant (replacement value of $1Billion+), direct pipeline to the port plus all the port facilities.

Plus the NCZ Century plant is only 100kms from Walford Creek so the fit is very good.

A very neat 'total package' - which is why we were gobsmacked when Paul Harris suddenly announced that AML were walking away from the "deal of the Century" i.e. the acquisition of the Century plant, pipeline, port facility and all the tenements for virtually no outlay (in fact it could be argued that MMG were paying the acquirer to take it all by providing an additional cash payment of $34.5m!).

The AML Board in inexplicably walking away, then let a much smaller enterprise (in fact a market minnow) do this deal of the Century with MMG! They then became NCZ which has been consistently valued by the market at multiples of AML's market cap.

Maybe what goes around, comes around?
