From the past we know that IGO loves to take over companies with large deposits, aka Sirius Resources.
With SGQ preparing to drill new targets in our own 100% tenement soon, IGO will be definitely watching us closely now for a potential major discovery.
If so my hope would be takeover attempt after a resource is defined as it was with Sirius.
Though our potential may not be realized to its full potential because I believe we may have other targets in our tenement that don't get chance to get fully tested in future exploration activities.
The sector is certainly consolidating and tightening up now in WA for the future of EV market.

I am hoping they may even stump up some cash towards additional exploration. Check out slide 25 of the pack. (Whole pack is a good read).

WSA have had little interest in SGQ of late so this takeover could see a different approach from a cashed up miner keen to develop clean energy resource like the high grade Nickel already found at MA.
