1149 [Dow Jones] Deutsche Bank says nickel's recent sell-off reaching its end; "in our view, nickel has reached oversold territory and is currently well below the marginal cost of production, indicating prices have hit bottom and should correct from here. Furthermore, LME nickel inventories have fallen nearly 20% since mid-April." Nickel has dropped 43% since early March with decline accelerating recently on reports of a weak stainless steel demand outlook. LME 3-month nickel ends at $18,700/ton, up $300, at yesterday's PM kerb, untraded so far today.(JAC)
