re: ihg goose or golden egg (you're insulting gees Thanks Stelep7. My sources tell me that Peter Foggerty of ERG fame is involved with Pendulum. These guys know all about IHG and I am wondering if they will have invested this money only to see operations continue to be conducted out of Belgium. Foggerty (through ERG) tried to pick IHG up for next to nothing in 1999 when IHG was on it's knees, only to have the offer rejected and the subsequent offer out of Belgium winning the day. I find it hard to believe that they don't want control of the company and if they do get control then operations might return to Australia, which in tern gives some hope that IHG might painstakingly claw it's way back to some sort of respectibility over the coming years. All long shot speculative theories but that's how I see it.
