My guess is that it is to do with more consolidation within the sector,they are all aware that telstra will do the deal with the new government even optus is alluding to the fact,the cancellation of opel is the best indicator therefore the smaller isps will have to merge to contain costs and to be able to compete with a telstra monopoly my bet is pipe networks will be involved here somewhere
