I get it, nothing is guaranteed. A couple of points in response:
1) Companies generally don't drop the solution which is (a) lower cost than everything else and (b) embedded with all the dealers, without a backup in place. There is no sign of such an alternative, and the company would know about it.
2) The initial term was 3 years. Why do you say that any future contract would be only one year? I would have thought 3 years is the de facto term.
