i hear that 80 percent of Chinese power comes from coal.
i assume the Australian percentage is almost the same???
we have billions of tons of lignite which can be converted to a much cleaner energy/fuel/coal?????

even though I drive boats and hate wind...it doesn't always blow during 8-5 when demand is high.
what about cloudy days and night time...
base load power is here to stay imo.
i may be crazy but I would prefer to live close to a clean coal plant than a nuclear power station?
