    Last night is a good example why this is absolute garbage.

    The gold price has been under pressure as the USD has strengthened as the US gov has stopped printing money for the time being. (China is now starting so should be interesting)

    Since yesterday gold fell $13.4 per oz in USD but only fell $5.8 per oz in AUD. This is because the USD also strengthened against the AUD, insulating the AUD gold price.
