I agree, it’s very unusual to see politicians resign like he and Mark McGowan have.

There is every possibility that their reasons for leaving are indeed the reasons they have stated, after all politicians are trustworthy people aren’t they.

Still , some people don’t necessarily agree with this pov and history does indicate that sometimes there’s a backstory that is a more likely explanation for their decision.

Jump before you are pushed is also one example of maintaining one’s own destiny.
