I didn't like the way Rudd was knifed,but Abbott hasn't offered much.

*He'll dump the mining tax??? why? the big miners have fundementally agreed to it..most economist agree its needed....why not implement it for the greater good.

*He plans to go cheap on the national broadband network....in this day and age its as important to infrastucture as good roads or rail...D- here Tony.

*He'll Stop the Boats.....great! well done...this is almost insignificant as most illegal immigrants have overstayed their visas.Fodder for talkback radio.


Personality wise I prefer Abbott as Gillard comes across a little stage managed.But this election campaign has been uninspired and lacking in substance....

both parties need to have a hard look at themselves otherwise we may as well organise the next election as a Channel 7 Sunrise phone poll.
