How will BSL fare from here is arguable that's for sure. But I'm trying to get a handle the future economics in the region and how they might impact on the steel mill. The vote on keeping PK open was carried by only a handful of votes as I understand which translates to a very substantial number of steel workers being against it! Fair enough that's democracy I suppose although I didn't get to vote and I'm a shareholder..
There is a little noise in the media today about Chinese investors now honing in specifically on Illawarra residential property on the logic that it will become a future major economic growth centre and trade hub through the ports - and that is said to include down to Jervis Bay!
Is this theme right - anyone living in the area know more of this please?
