My point was if these human rights people were really genuine and morally concerned they would be screaming from the hill tops that these economic refugees should be put at the back of the queue and can wait there until other more deserving people are treated first.

I have never seen police reports on a Karen person ever attacking anyone and they seem to be genuinely family orientated, caring and really willing to do the hard yards. They would probably think that Manus or Naura was absolute luxury compared to where they have been.

Instead we waste billions on queue jumpers and the ambulance chasers who can see the easy money or political advantage.

I know who I would prefer in my neighbourhood.
