wouldn't be too sure about that.

I had 'doings' with the police here a year or two back - and I was amazed to find out what they can't look into - from one state to another.

It was pretty dammed scary. I thought, well, we live in Australia - how easy is it to check on someone in another state?

Hmmmm, silly me -------- turns out they have very little power outside your own state.
