Found this on LinkedIn - seems like Sr-HT-Gahnite is going to see additional work through this research centre: Allegra Orthopaedics recently participated in the launch of The University of Sydney’s ARC Training Centre for Innovative BioEngineering. The Centre was awarded $4,420,408.00 funding by the Australian Research Council, the NSW Department of Industry, to support the next-generation of skilled graduates in overcoming industry-focused challenges in musculoskeletal regeneration. Allegra was proud to participate in the opening event as one of the partner organisations. Allegra’s Innovation team had the opportunity to showcase the cervical spinal fusion device 3D printed from the Sr-HT-Gahnite bone substitute material. Allegra has exclusively licensed the Sr-HT-Gahnite material Intellectual Property from The University of Sydney. The material is 3D printed and has the outstanding potential for supporting bone regeneration in load bearing applications.
