ferrymanau, that's an interesting point. The markets indeed should be tanking now if the fundamentals are dismal but for one thing. The markets are not totally based on fundamentals. If they were it would be too easy to predict where the markets should go, at least in the immediate future. Markets are also based on fear, greed and several other emotional attributes of the traders, plus a little bit of news to effect. Most of these factors are too often indeterminate, which is why predicting markets is impossible to any great degree of certainty.
