Prowiz, in my opinion, the time to make money on shares is when they have had the crap knocked out of them, could ILU go lower? Of course it could. Look at BHP today, another 52 week low RIO, threatening another as well, judging by market action in Europe and the US this early morning, very possibly again today. Iluka has taken much of it's bad medicine now, it can do something many other resource companies really cannot do as effectively and that is adjust it's cost base significantly in harder times, which are here. I believe most of the downside is now priced in unless financial armageddon arrives in which case, there won't be many equities that will save anyone, period. Just my opinion I thought yours was a bit extreme that's all. As long as the company is well cashed up and can get through this period, it will be all right, in my view. Much closer to the bottom than the top now.
