I respectfully disagree, Byond.
ILU has a pile of Zircon, processed and unprocessed, worth about $600m. See: slide 9 of the 23 Feb profit announcement slidepack. They have stopped digging Z-rich deposits and are meeting Z demand from stockpile. Very low cost.
New mines coming on are Rutile and Ilmenite-rich, as is Sierra Rutile. This is where the money is.
Once the stockpile is down to a manageable size and pricing tension restored, they can easily restart Hamilton, probably on Balranald feedstock.
ILU's recent moves have been quite astute. I expect good profits from now. Of course, we all would rather see every operation running flat out, but this solution will get them there.
