There is one thing here that seems fairly obvious.
Alcoa, Collie and most of Iluka is on Crown land less what ever Iluka may own in the way of land.
So looks like the state is going to wear the cost for that rehabilitation.
BUT:
Jennings is privately owned land!
So if the Tailings aren't returned for rehabilitation at Jennings . Then basically you would have to call that Theft ?
I think thats a pretty serious situation Iluka could appear to be in - Stealing - also I believe from what Iluka I have disclosed on their reports is that they have sold some Monazite..
Could this be possible, that some of that Monazite sold belong to Jennings?
Selling possibly stolen goods? !! Now thats not good at all.
Mining companies it would seem just hide behind the closed doors deals with Government.
Cant see how they can apply this to a Privately owned land holding like Jennings.
