Bloking earns $25k a month and as far as I can see, he hasn't made a decision yet.

Tilbrook - when the horse is dead, you are just stop kicking it, that's why you haven't heard anything.

Irrelevant not being from a sand mining background? You probably dont want a sandminer anyway, they would be brutal about Coburn and the board would look pretty damn stupid after all these years.

GUN vs BHP (Andrew MacKenzie). One has deep pockets and can afford staff to do the hard work. The other has to do the hard work, because he can't afford the staff.

Stop thinking in terms of sand mining, that's just one of a range of possibilities to capitalise on an oversold/undervalued asset.

What else are they going to do with it? Build a resort? Flog it for whatever you can and move on, it's never going to be developed. There are far better projects in W.A. as per SFX's announcement from last week.

"The resource includes a coherent high grade core of 517Mt @ 10.1% HM (Indicated and Inferred), containing 3.6Mt of zircon, 0.8Mt of rutile, 2.2Mt of leucoxene and 15.2Mt of ilmenite (at 7.5% HM cut-off).

Thunderbird has Indicated and Inferred mineral resources totalling 1.37Bt @ 6.1% HM for 83Mt of contained HM (at 2% HM cut-off), including 5.7Mt of zircon, 1.3Mt of rutile, 3.6Mt of leucoxene and 24Mt of ilmenite (Appendix 1)."

15Mt of Ilmenite !!! You could leave the Zircon in the ground. Take note of their cut-off grades. The 517Mt is at 7.5%, not the silly cut-off that GUN has been using for 3 years.

All this resource is contained in an area 4km x 5km, up to 125m deep, 3m overburden, open in three directions and 50km from a major port. You wouldn't need to move infrastructure - ever.
