The Denver Gold Forum presentations from the ASX miners in particular really showed the sea-change within the sector now that their industrial and bulk mining peers are collapsing under the reality that they massively over-built supply into falling Chinese demand.
The cost savings that the Aussie gold miners are experiencing across the sector is phenomenal.
Coupled with the fact that the collapsing industrial / bulk sectors are weakening the AUD and it's the mythical JAWS effect.
It hasn't come too soon either with the Australian gold miners suffering from over priced labour and services within the sector for a number of years - to the detriment of long suffering shareholders.
Whilst it'll be choppy, maybe our time has come !!
