The legislation regarding religous discrimination seems to be at loggerhheads with the Liberal Party trying to win conservative religous type voters. Pick one group of Christians, and then all is good - but giving those same protections to Islamic schools and people get ... wierd. However both are anti-LGBTI - most to the point of wanting them killed. The Jewish groups have schools and want to be left alone, however, most others want government funding for their delusions to be taught to their children.
Sometimes it just because religous schools have better discipline and are safer than other public schools. The LNP has to come down on one side or the other...
