Thanks, but it would appear that BOM is over egging the pudding [as usual] calling it a cat. 3 gale. On windy.com it still doesn't look like a properly formed cyclone, not having a wall. It's a strange TC with the rain all well north of it, usually it mostly to the south.
That said, I'm pleased not to be in Bowen or the Whitsundays.
