QBE is really starting to annoy me now!!!... if it doesnt get back in to the 18s in the lead up to (hopefully) a positive profit announcement and the ex-div date then i will seriously consider off loading at a loss or wait till ex-div and offload at a loss (must make a note to myself not to look at the price whilst at work to avoid this frustration!).
Why is this stock down when all other major financials are up today? I can't understand.
In recent times it has just been following the ASX200 chart but lately (last week especially) it's been dropping more than the overall market. I take a little comfort in that in the last 12 months it has seriously underperformed the ASX200 and at the same time the ASX200 has underperformed the Dow. Hopefully this means there is a big range for QBE to bounce back when we get back to trend with the Dow or it could mean that there is minimal drop if and when the Dow corrects itself.
End of the day this is a long term buy but i feel very uncomforatble having substantial amount in a single stock - my fault for averaging down too much!!!
