Some of you were a bit tough on Penny. I feel she single handedly kept the lemon industry alive and well last night by sucking on a fresh quarter right before each cross to her. If what she was espousing is indeed the way Labor interpret this outcome, that it is all because of Palmer, then more fool them. At least Bill saw where some of the problem lies, hence his decision not to contest the leadership. But that on its own will not be enough. They need to do some serious introspection to distinguish ideology from practicality. Their "it doesn't matter what it costs, it's the right thing to do" sounds like something one would say when you are either infinitely rich, or you have zero appreciation for what it will cost others to pay for your stance. "Let me take your money", said Bill, "and I'll take as much as I need or want to fix all the world's problems. It's the right thing to do". Sorry dude, I just don't trust you or your party.
