Market cap is a terrible measurement. I could create 'Sh!tCorp', print 1 billion shares, and sell ONE single share for $1, the ONLY share ever sold. Bingo, I have a 1 billion dollar market cap. Wow, such success!
Unless you look at depth, volumes, and what's driving a MC (is it temporary hype?) - it's not a great metric at all.
