Meanwhile, among those who won't be feeling the sting from today's bleak performance will be anyone who got on board Ord River prior to the company's announcement this morning.
Shares in the company soared after it announced what it has modestly described as "potentially one of the most significant discoveries in Australian copper mining history". After opening at 58c, shares in Ord River soared to an intraday high of $1.10 before cooling to close at 96c, a gain of 65.5% for the day.
However, the more hawk-eyed observers would have noticed little new in today's statement – the very results at the heart of this morning's announcement, in particular rock chip samples grading up to 42.5% copper, were released on Thursday last week in a far more subdued announcement from the company.
am i missing something here....if these results were released on Thursday....
then something bigger must be driving the assault on this stock..today..!!!!!
