Yesterday I received an e-mail from a friend invested in gold stocks:
"In the last 6 trading days gold has risen US$64.00 and the All Ords is up 246 points while I've lost nearly 8% of my portfolio.
It would be virtually impossible in todays bullish market, for any novice investor out there to pick 5 random stocks from the ASX and lose 8% on them in the last 6 trading days.
I've managed to do it. I should get some kind of award."
That got me thinking.
No matter whether the market goes up or down gold shares get trashed.
No matter whether gold rises or falls gold shares get trashed.
No matter whether gold companies release good reports or bad reports, gold shares get trashed.
There's only so much you can take. This is not even a sick joke. I've had enough of this shit. Sold some crap gold shares today.
The way things are going I'll have the chance to be a sucker again and be able to buy them back 50% cheaper in a month's time.
