I cant help but to think that in the not too distant future, the DURAVR becomes gold standard for Valve Replacement. It will (hopefully) be the first choice of product...and given the clinical results so far, it does seem to outperform the competitors products. YEs, it will be tough to take market share from the well established competitors, but the product may just sell it self. remembering that every year of trials and early days of standard use, there will be a new cohort of trainee physicians who wont be as difficult to convince to chose AVR over the other. I just hope that we as shareholders can share in what that brings.........hopefully owning all or some of the company.............The market projections in the next 5 years are exciting - the incidence of aortic stenosis is not likely to decline, so the growing and aging population and the chronic disease issue, any of us with more than 10 years to hang in there might see something exciting.
