the real question for Australia is WHY does Australia NEED to take so many?

it's one thing that so many wish to come - it's another issue that without immigrants - Australia stops

many say - oh, look during Covid - we had better employment and it all went ok

but, it didn't ------- crops didn't get picked, aged care facilities couldn't get staff, doctors and nurses were short, business was screaming for labour

the only thing we can do to stem the tide of those who want to come - are to stop helping America to destabilise Africa and the Middle East and Asia because - it wants to

but there is a long long list of what we can do to make Australia less dependent on immigration -------

for a start - we could educate our own
we could pay proper wages for farm workers and stop wage theft - which has now been reported as 'everywhere' though all industries, in all age groups, for foreigners and Ozzies and for men and women and children
we could train our own workforce - instead of going cheap and bringing in experience

we can do all of that --------------- if we had the will
