My view is that it is not what they are paid it's the lack of performance that is the problem. Should we pay more to get better candidates or would we just get more of the same under performers. The current crop of pollies and public servants { apart from some exceptions )are just so lacking in dynamics and vitality. They would never cut it in the private sector
