I'm currently building a new home and whilst i am a fence sitter I am giving the environment the benefit of the doubt and feeding electricity back in to the grid.
Also using four water tanks (some connected to toilets etc) and others used to hold rainwater.
I educate my children about turning lights and electrical appliances off.
I sold my gas guzzling 4 wheel drive and purchased a good car that was very economical to run.
What amazes me though is if global warming is true then I see the only solution moving forward to be nuclear power stations. They have had them for years in europe and from what I have read are very safe if designed and run properly.
